Haven’t been to the site a lot in the past few months. Just took a look (as a visitor) and noticed a few things that need to be fixed. Some pages are still showing the parent of the page to be the OLD site root. Need to fix that. Even though the OLD site root ...
on February 8, 2017 at 10:30pm PST in order to further improve network reliability. This has a planned maintenance window of four hours, and will result in server unavailability of up to 45 minutes.
The site was down for several days for maintenance caused by software updates that screwed up a lot of things. Have completed correcting all the programing errors the updates caused (I hope) and the site is now live again.
My host, Dreamhost, will be performing a scheduled maintenance on web the server this Wednesday, January 20th, starting at 7AM PDT. The maintenance will take up to 2 hours and there will be up to 30 minutes of downtime.
Thanks to Kendall the multiple scroll bars are now gone.
Unless I’ve missed something (probably have) everything seems to be working properly now. Ready to start adding the Genealogy data and documentation.
NOTE about that; there are a few photos and documents that have been uploaded already for me to use as test data.
Still have the stupid double scroll bars which are really annoying but ...

The Genealogy site is perryfamilyroots.com. (This redirects to russperry.com/WP/genealogy and if your browser blocks the redirection you can just go to it instead.)

Since this latest update there’s a bug (at least it bugs me) that puts 2 (sometimes 3) separate scroll bars on some pages and sometimes requires you to move the cursor to the appropriate bar to continue scrolling a page. Eventually I WILL find out what and where in the code this is and fix ...
Still a lot of kinks to work out but things are coming along nicely. Have changed the index file in the main directory to show the site as offline.
Have been totally redesigning the site and have most things organized. Still a few things missing so you may see what looks like garbage to you instead of what you expected to see when you click on a few things. I’m getting to them. Right now I’m trying to decide the best way to incorporate ...
